He began his activity as a painter around 1938: he was initially fascinated by his fellow citizen Ivo Pannaggi and by other futurists of the time, Filippo Tommaso Marinetti above all, while after the war he approached abstractionism and great expressive freedom can be seen in his works and chromatic invention[citation needed]; manages to establish contacts and relationships with the major abstractionists of the moment such as Alberto Burri. He created frescoes, murals, wall sculptures, graffiti and decorations in various cities, including his native Macerata, Bologna, San Benedetto del Tronto, Ascoli Piceno, Teramo and Rimini and continues to exhibit in art galleries in various Italian and foreign locations.
