André Vandenbeuck (1931 - ), is a French designer. After training as a carpenter and interior designer, André Vaundenbeuck worked from 1962 to 1989 as a planner and designer for Mobilier International and Mobilier d'aujourd'hui Lille. From 1964 to 1989 he exhibited models in prestigious exhibitions at home and abroad: seven salons des artistes décorateurs in Paris, Triennale Milano (French pavilion), Eurodomus, special exhibition at the Palais du Premier Ministre Avenue Matignon, personal exhibition at the Institut d' decorative art Lille. His Unica armchair and Unica chaise longue models are in the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs Paris. From 1965 to 1999 André Vandenbeuck designed seating exclusively for Strässle. Various international exhibitions, awards and diplomas, as well as teaching at the Ecole des Beaux Arts Tourcoing and the Institut de design et d'architecture IDEA Paris testify to the importance of André Vandenbeck in the panorama of contemporary design.
