Patrizio Vanessi Biography
Patrizio Vanessi, born in Legnago on 4 September 1953, approached the world of art from a young age, frequenting the studios of artists with different artistic backgrounds, ranging from the figurative to the abstract movement, from arte povera to trans-avant-garde. Over the years, he has dedicated time to the study and research of communication languages and techniques that stand out and characterize the different artistic phases. In the 1980s, he established a collaboration with an important Canadian gallery, the Artcore Gallery, under the direction of Fabrizio Marcolini, an Italian-American. Thanks to this collaboration, his works have been exhibited in various fairs and galleries located in the cities of Milan, Bologna, Turin, Basel, Toronto, New York, Miami, Prague and Cologne. In the 2000s, he undertook a new experience in the digital field, manipulating photography on the computer and printing it on Ciba, as well as manipulating materials such as plastic, plexiglass and PVC. In 2013, a historical archive of his works was created, which can be consulted on the official website.
