Bruno William VeSota, born March 25, 1922, was an American-born actor, director and producer. In the period between 1945 and 1974, he participated in a large number of television episodes and took part in over 50 films. VeSota directed several episodes of “They Stand Accused,” the first courtroom drama series to air live on WGN-TV, later syndicated nationally on CBS and DuMont. He is known for his performances in science fiction films of the 1950s and early 1960s, such as the 1955 film "Dementia" and 1966's "The Wild World of Batwoman." Additionally, during the 1960s, he starred as a bartender in numerous episodes of Bonanza. Sadly, he passed away in Los Angeles in 1976 at the age of 54 following a heart attack.
