Paolo Ventura is an Italian photographer, artist and set designer born in Milan in 1968. After attending the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in the 1980s, he worked as a fashion photographer for important magazines such as Elle and Vogue Gioiello. Subsequently, he decided to follow his personal artistic path and moved to New York, where he began creating and photographing small dioramas based on his grandmother's stories about World War II in Italy. He published a book entitled "Winter Stories" in 2009 and has obtained exhibitions and acquisitions from museums and photographic institutions around the world. He has also collaborated as a set designer for theater productions such as "Carousel" in 2016 and "Pagliacci" in 2018.
