Vernier has immortalized the creations of famous designers such as Christian Dior and Emilio Pucci, as well as supermodels Celia Hammond, Jean Shrimpton and Vogue creative director Grace Coddington. Vernier's photographs stand out for their innovation in the use of props, backdrops and locations. Regardless of where the photos were taken - on the beach or inside a pale pink convertible - Vernier paid scrupulous attention to composition, emphasizing the essence of his subjects and their poses. The artist mainly used the black and white technique, revealing her characteristic style of classical femininity. Eugene Vernier died in 2011.
