Giulio Versorese was an Italian painter, born on 11 May 1868 in Florence. Although there is not much information about his life, it is known that he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in his hometown and participated in the exhibition of the Promoter of Florence. Besides that, he also created several famous portraits, including Lieutenant Grimaldi, Mr. Rapi and the painter Emilio Amadei, and made numerous studies of the surroundings of Florence such as the Cascine al fresco paintings and the outdoor figures, both in pastel and watercolor. Giulio Versorese passed away in 1900.
