Arturo Vertunni was born in Rome in 1860 and was the son of the painter Achille Vertunni. He learned the art of painting from his father and participated in the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Rome in 1893, where he presented "Studio". In 1898, he participated in the VII National Exhibition of Turin, exhibiting the work "L'Aniene". In 1906, he was present at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Milan with two paintings entitled "Sad Evening" and "Roman Countryside and Beach", and with 8 pastels depicting landscapes of the Roman countryside or beach. Arturo Vertunni died in Rome in 1910.
