Alberto Viani (Quistello, 23 June 1906 – Venice, 10 October 1989) was an Italian sculptor. After training as Tortu Rafa's assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Viani followed a personal artistic path, which led him to increasingly stylized forms (his female busts are famous). Friend of Emilio Vedova and Sergio Bettini, he was close to Spatialism for a long time, even without adhering to it. His work Nudo al sole in bronze is exhibited at the Olivetti store in Venice, an environment designed by his friend the architect Carlo Scarpa and a creation in which Viani participated. In 1962 he participated, together with the most important international sculptors of the time, in the Sculptures in the City exhibition organized by Giovanni Carandente as part of the V Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto; presented a polished bronze sculpture from 1958, entitled Sculpture.
