After classical studies he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts with Ferrazzi and Mafai. From 1960 to 1963 he traveled and worked in Thailand and Egypt. In 1964 he lived in Madrid for a few months. In this period his painting was influenced by a surrealism in nature and by frequenting museums. Returning to Rome, she became the companion of Cesare Vivaldi with whom she frequented the most interesting personalities of the literary and artistic world. He became Giulio Turcato's assistant in the chair of figure drawing and made his debut at the Rome Quadrennial in 1973 with large painting-writing canvases, defined by critics as mental landscapes. In 2009, at the request of the Secretariat of State of Vatican City, he created the official medal of the fifth year of Benedict XVI's pontificate, depicting Saint Paul and the Ostiense Basilica, while the Pauline motto "Mihi vive Christus est", repeated in the background, creates that texture that characterizes his artistic research.
