A bronze zoomorphic censer China, Ming (1368-1644)
A reddish-brown patina bronze incense burner depicting a duck on the water. This type of objects, often linked to recurring models inspired by the animal world, such as deers, lions or mandarine ducks, had a notable diffusion between the Ming and Qing dynasties. Focus feature of this item is the beautiful cast with reddish patina quite unusual in this kind of artifacts.
