This refined bowl stands on a disc, which is surrounded by a band embellished by floral patterns. The inside of the bowl, painted in pink, shows a little band embellished with a ruyi motif near the upper rim. The central inner circle is decorated with three different kind of trees: the cherry tree, the Chinese pine and the citrus medica, best known as "Buddha's hand". The external part of the bowl is gently painted with a Jiujiang landscape, in which there are some people, too. Right under the upper rim there is an inscription, which says, "Mount Lushan's (Jiujiang) waterfalls". Two similar objects was auctioned by Christie's in May, 2003 (sale 1119, lot 256).
