A glt copper figure of Buddha Sakyamuni Sino-Mongolian, 19th century
Fusione con base ancora sigillata, raffigurante il Buddha storico, il principe Siddharta Gautama, seduto in posizione padmasana su una doppia base di loto ed abbellito da una veste monacale con decori fitomorfi elegantemente cesellati. La sua mano destra è nel gesto Bhumisparsamudra, mentre la sinistra è in avakasamudra. Sul volto e sull'acconciatura sono presenti tracce policrome.
