A very fine illuminated folio from Baysanghur Qur'an Persia or Egypt, 14th century
Arabic manuscript on paper, 1 leaf,11 lines to the page, written in large muhaqqaq script in black ink, verses separated by gold florets, headings in gold ornamental Eastern Kufic script over cobalt blu ground. For a comparison please cfr. Sotheby's 19 October 2016, lot 160.
Restoration, stain and small missing parts.
