A zinc alloy bidri tray inalid with brass floral design India, Deccan, Bidar, 17th century
Of rounded form with curved rim, inlaid with a band containing repeated flowers. Further embellished with a central round element radiating seven feather-like flowers interspersed with smaller rosettes over dotted background.
A similar example, with slightly more elaborated decoration, has been sold at Christie's, London, 7th April 2011, lot 240.
