Aepyornis egg. Pleistocene.
Complete and intact egg of Aepyornis Maximus. This bird, known as the "Elephant bird" or elephant bird, became extinct in the 1500s in Madacascar, where it has always lived. The eggs could weigh up to 20kg.
Small conservation restoration on the back.
