Little cerimonial altar carved using a finely engraved animal vertebra. In the center it presents a human figure (Yene) with a crowned elongated head. This figure represents a recently deceased ancestor to whom the Batak populations of the Leti islands addressed concerning family or community matters. The legs folded indicate that it is a male figure. Piece of extremely fine execution.
