An ivory carving depicting Lord Krishna India, Goa, 18th-19th century
An elephant tusk tip, finely carved with Krishna playing the flute, named Venugopala. The main figure is also surrounded by seven undressed gopies, each one resting on a lotus flower. Traces of polychromy throughout the carving.
