Burkina Faso - Bobo. Hunter's necklace. Iron.
Splendid and rare Bobo hunter's necklace in forged iron. Reconstructed 'in situ' using links from different periods and workmanship, but all in forged iron, it features the magnificently stylised figure of a mouflon in the centre as a pendant. A similar necklace is published in the precious book Fer Noir.
Magnificent patina and signs of use.
