Delightful little Dan mask, of what were once called "passport masks" and were used in Africa to represent a notable in long-distance trade transactions.
A few knife strokes made the eyes, while the nose and mouth are the result of "removing" from a triangle, as in the best Dan sculptural tradition.
Nice patina with obvious signs of use.
