Lea Dunson, the beautiful client on duty, hires Dylan Dog to investigate the death of her ex-husband, Bertram Watkins. The man, who died in mysterious circumstances, belonged to a segment of humanity known as "the collectors". People who are fanatical about everything from comic books and toys to movie posters and even candy surprises. On the surface it is a harmless pastime, a game for adults who are still a bit childish, but at the same time it is a deadly competition between those who are willing to kill in order to get hold of a rare object of their desire.
