Lot 129
The lot comes from the archives of the staff of Lodolo Film, a historic Italian advertising and animation company founded in the late 1950s. The Posteros, fictional, primitive characters from the future, were born from Pino Pascali's collaboration with Lodolo Film in 1958, a year before he graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, a partnership that lasted until 1967. Sandro Lodolo, owner of the advertising production company, and Pino Pascali, as creative director, produced countless commercials and cartoons. The intermezzi with the Posteros as protagonists were made in black and white and in colour in 1962 and in 1968, the year of Pascali's death, when they were taken over by Lodolo as a study for the characters of a new advertising container for RAI's second programme.
