impressive head crest made of parchment and wood depicting a threatening stylized face painted in red. This type of artifacts, suggestive in their variety, are mainly made with raw antelope skin, boiled and left to dry over the previously carved wooden form; once dried, the parchment is painted in bright colors. Provenance: Milanese private collection formed around the 1950s.
