In the works of Roberto Sebastian Matta, a union of worlds emerges that determines his artistic poetics: the boundaries of surrealist thought widen from the theme of the individual subconscious, the collective unconscious emerges with the use of expressive languages ​​and symbolist components. Matta had the ability to combine the memory of the past, from the mythical suggestions of the Pre-Columbian lands, to visions projected into a futuristic future.
