Pair of porcelain incense-bearing lions, Rose Family. China, Qing Dynasty, late 18th century.
The two lions stand on a rectangular base and are depicted crouched on their hind legs holding on their backs two slightly flared canes to hold incense sticks. They are covered in vivid enamels among which the colour pink predominates. end of the Qianlong period (1736-1795).
