Provenance: Dutch Private Collection.
Exhibition: since 1945 the artwork has been exhibited in many exhibitions as an autograph by Rembrandt. In 1967 she was exhibited at the Natural History Museum in Geneva as an autograph by Rembrandt.
In 1979 the artwork was sold at the Weichmann auction (in Wiesbaden, Germany) with the attribution to Jacobus Levecq.
