Rare ceramic planter depicting amorino arrotino, polychrome floral decoration and gold on a base adorned with foliage.
Signature imprinted during cooking in the pasta "Emile Gallé a Nancy Deposé", 1885. The artwork is accompanied by a text by Franco Borga.
Reference bibliography: Museé Arts et Mâtieres Paris, referance archivies; "genre grés". Présentè a l'Exposition Universelle en 1889. Avec l'insription "J'ai fait fleurir le petit Amour".
