Loom pulley characterized by the stylized figure of the Calao bird, a mythological figure among the Senufo.
Of beautiful synthesis and proportion is the solution adopted to represent the bird's head.
Also of note is the geometric carving work that is absolutely asymmetrical, as in the best tradition of African tribal sculpture.
