Two wooden figurines Democratic Rep. Congo (?)
two wooden sculptures with small painted areas depicting a standing warrior with a parchment shield and a young naked girl. Both figures are embellished with metal inserts for the eyes and jewelry.
Provenance: These pieces are part of Pietro Felter's private collection
(Roè Volciano-bs 1856-Sabbio Chiese 1915), gold medal for military valor, explorer and diplomat, and who for a long time lived in Harar where he had numerous properties.
