Facciolo was one of the first illustrators of Diabolik and to him we owe the graphic characterizations of the characters as we know them today. The Giussani sisters, dissatisfied with the drawings published after the first nine issues of the series, entrusted Facciolo with the task of rethinking the features of Diabolik, Eva Kant, Ginko and Altea.
