Yoruba, Nigeria. Pair of male Ibeji cufflinks. Light patina hardwood and beaded. Visible flaws and signs of use.
Particular pair of male Ibeji twins, by hairstyle, nose and mouth shape ascribable to the Oyo area of origin. Characterized by a very light patina face and abundant blue pigment in the hairstyles and earthy material with woodcam dust on the bodies.
Of note is the lack of a beaded necklace.
Measurement of the second twin: 23 x 8 cm.
