Fabio Aguzzi Biography
Fabio Aguzzi was born on 14 March 1953 in Milan, but it was in the Pavia countryside, in Vidigulfo (Lombardy), that he developed his passion for art.
He attended an art school and the Brera Academy, where he studied sculpture and painting. Fabio's style has evolved over time, from surrealism to American hyperrealism and finally to his unique style characterized by a fascination with light. He painted landscapes, still lifes and portraits, with Ettore Gian Ferrari showing particular interest in his work.
Despite the success of his exhibitions, Fabio continued to live and work in Vidigulfo. In 1991, he had his second major turning point when Stefano Contini, a gallery owner, invited him to exhibit his works in Mestre. The following year, Fabio presented his works for the first time at the Contini gallery in Asiago, where he exhibited works inspired by Venice, a city that had a special place in his heart. Light remained a central theme in Fabio's work: light was not just a subject to examine, but a pretext to create and make paintings that captured the atmosphere of mixed light that could be found in Venice. Fabio Aguzzi continued to create art until his untimely death in Vidigulfo on December 31, 2016.
