Claudio Buso Biography
Claudio Buso was born in 1955 and is a painter who stands out for his unique style, which should not be confused with the hyperrealism of the 70s. Buso uses a photographic approach to replicate the objects and scenes he paints, but unlike hyperrealism, with the light created by the artist, it creates a reverberation effect that gives the bodies a particular depth. Furthermore, the bodies bear a number or code that denotes their insertion into a social reality beyond the present, but controlled with a constitutive function of a similar future for all, within a collective privacy. In the creation of his works, Buso uses brushes with very few hairs, used only a few times to make the minute detail of writings and details almost imperceptible. It often represents metropolis scenes, in which the recursivity of some elements is captured, such as the yellow 'Ford' taxi, the traffic light or the hand ordering to go or stop, clocks, very precise time and space stamps. These elements are signals, symbols or encrypted codes used to frame a certain environmental space. The first level of reading of Buso's works is soon surpassed thanks to his illusion of hyper-realism. We can thus proceed to consider the architectural plan that presides over the drafting of the painting itself, in which the subjects mentioned above are placed in the background and merge with the background. This unique style of Claudio Buso has led him to acquire a following of passionate supporters and be recognized as one of the great artists in his field.
