Giustino Caposciutti Biography
Giustino Caposciutti (1946 - ) began painting as a child. In 1955 he won a national drawing award. His first exhibition was in 1969 in Aosta at the Region. After a figurative beginning, towards the end of the 1960s he began a phase of research, taking an interest in the artistic avant-gardes of the time: poor art, new realism, optical and kinetic art, analytical painting and spatialism. His is a simple and at the same time cultured painting, which takes its cue from the analytical painting of the late 1960s. His work has evolved over time, characterizing itself with existential and social messages. If by participatory art we mean an art that is defined through the contribution of a plurality of subjects, not only people, but also other entities, such as the canvas, the nails, the wall, the light, Caposciutti for over two For decades he has been one of the main protagonists at an international level, thanks to the creation of events such as FiloArx, Arte Plurale, Tessere and Heart Art which have made him known throughout the world.
