Enrico Cassi Artwork valuations, appraisals and auction estimates

Enrico Cassi (December 1863 - 12 February 1913) was an Italian sculptor.
Born in Varese, his father was a sculptor who worked in marble.
After entering the Brera Academy he studied sculpture under the guidance of Francesco Barzaghi and Enrico Butti. In 1891, at the Brera Triennale, he received praise for his sculpture entitled “Emigrata”. Read the full biography

Enrico Cassi (December 1863 - 12 February 1913) was an Italian sculptor.
Born in Varese, his father was a sculptor who worked in marble.
After entering the Brera Academy he studied sculpture under the guidance of Francesco Barzaghi and Enrico Butti. In 1891, at the Brera Triennale, he received praise for his sculpture entitled “Emigrata”. In 1894, his sculpture entitled "War" won a national prize from the Peace Society. He completed the Monument to Luciano Manara, left unfinished by Barzaghi, for a site at Porta Venezia in Milan.
He also finished the monument to General Dezza for Milan. In 1909, he completed the monument to the Cairoli family in Pavia.
He is also known for his funerary works in the Monumental Cemetery of Milan, including the tomb monument of the Daninos family.
