Francesco Chieppa Biography
Francesco Chieppa was born in Brescia in 1955 and is a motorcyclist artist. From a young age he had a great passion for motorcycles, starting to ride his father's Lambretta 150 when he was still of school age. His father then supported him in his passion, buying him his first motocross bike, an Aspes Navaho 50, followed by many other successful motocross bikes such as Ancillotti, Husqvarna, Zundapp, Maico. Thanks to participation in many competitions at the Italian level, Francesco began to want to move up to the 500cc class, and so he joined a boxing gym to increase muscle mass. Instead of returning to the dirt tracks, however, Francesco became passionate about boxing, achieving excellent results in the ring.
While continuing to love motorbikes, Francesco also cultivated other passions, in particular that of painting. He decided to study at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, after having attended the art school of Turin. His passion for painting took him around Europe, where he absorbed the energies of the places he visited, drawing inspiration above all from Germany, the country of Neo-Expressionism. His painting is expressionistically primitive, made of instinct and emotions, and the subject takes shape during the creation of the work.
Francesco Chieppa's career has been marked by numerous exhibitions and performances, many of which had a humanitarian purpose related to children. He worked for world-famous celebrities, earning the nickname “Der Wildimaler” (Wild Painter), as he is known in Germany. His art brought him among the best brushes of Neo Expressionism.
