Rossi Horacio Garcia (Buenos Aires, 1929 - Paris, 2012) Horacio Garcia Rossi was an Argentine artist. He studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires and during this period he met Demarco, Le Pare and Sobrino. He participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Argentina and Latin America. In 1959 he moved to Paris, where he continued his research into the problematic of anonymity and the multiplication of form. He was one of the founders of the Center de Recherches d'Arts Visuel and the GRAV, and from 1962 he introduced real movement and light into his works. In the meantime he also dedicated himself to the creation of works that could be manipulated by the public, and then returned to two-dimensional plastic problems in the 1970s. In the late 1990s he concentrated on creating works characterized by more aggressive tones.
