Huang Kehua Biography
Huang Kehua was born in 1943 in Rongcheng, Shandong province, China. He studied and graduated in engineering. Kehua became the honorary president of the Shandong Photographers Association, the Qili Photographic Culture Improvement Association, and the Great China Group of Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Many of his works have been published in photography magazines both in China and abroad. He has won awards in America, Italy, South Korea and China.
In 2008 Bucy, General Secretary of FIAP, awarded him the honor of being President and Permanent Member of FIAP (Oriental International Photography Art Improvement Association). In 2009, his works "Impression of Africa", "Swan in My Hometown" and "My Love, Mother Earth" were published in prestigious photography magazines. In 2010, his solo exhibition in Jinan, "Instant Image - Huang Kehua Photo Exhibition", received attention and favorable comments from industry professionals.
Since 1976, Kehua has held various leading positions, including Director of the Jinan Financial Bureau, General Director of the Financial Commission in Shandong Province, Deputy Governor of Shandong Province, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and Director of the the Financial/Economic Committee at the National People's Congress.
Considered one of the most important contemporary Chinese photographers, Kehua's work explores nature through the eye of a visionary. His photographs transcend their medium, becoming works of art that often surprise viewers with their modernity. Kehua's art can bear comparison with the great artists of the twentieth century, such as Pollock, Kline and the giants of American abstract art.
