Tina Lupo was born in 1949, lives in Bologna, creates her works of art in her studio. He attended the Art Institute of Bari and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. He taught sculpture from 1970 to 2006. In 1974 and 1976 he made two study trips to New York. He deals with sculpture as part of a contemporary rereading of the iconographic mystery of the great and ancient Mediterranean civilizations. Research that also extends to graphics, painting and goldsmithing. Since the early seventies he has exhibited in personal and collective exhibitions in Italy (Bologna, Florence, Lecce, Milan, Palermo, Rome, Turin, Trento, Udine, Venice, Verona) and abroad (Barcelona, Chicago, London, Paris, Rio de Janeiro). Furthermore, her works are exhibited in the most significant national and international art exhibitions (in particular those that favor three-dimensionality as an artistic language), the artist is invited by critics and curators such as Philippe Daverio and Paolo Levi. His works are also regularly presented in the main contemporary art fairs. Writings and news about his activity have appeared in newspapers, catalogs and specialized magazines. His work is historicized in several volumes of the Catalog of Italian Modern Art and the Catalog of Italian Sculptors, published by Mondadori.
