Adolfo Magrini was an Italian painter, illustrator, and set designer born in Ferrara on July 10, 1874, and died in Milan on April 9, 1957. The son of the lawyer Paolo Magrini and Elisa Orlandini, he lived in Ferrara, where he received his artistic training at the Dosso Dossi school as a student of Longanesi. He later perfected his art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, studying under the guidance of Domenico Morelli and Filippo Palizzi.
