The debut at the Permanente in Milan dates back to 1923; subsequently the artist participated in the Venice Biennials, the Roman Quadrennials and the main Milanese exhibitions, obtaining important official recognitions such as the gold medal from the Ministry of Public Education in 1926, the Sallustio Fornara prize at the Permanente in Milan in 1933 and the Mylius at the Brera Academy the following year. In 1929 he was present at the International Exhibition in Barcelona. Also using pastel and watercolor techniques, as well as oil and tempera painting, he paints portraits, female figures, still lifes and landscapes in post-impressionist poetics.
