Born as a branch of Modern and Contemporary Art, the department has enjoyed autonomy since November 2022 when its first auction hesitated. The need to separate the two specialties (one-of-a-kind pieces and works reproduced in series) arises from the evolution of demand which has become increasingly specialized over the last few years. The auction house's offer has therefore adapted to the needs of the international market by providing a more selected proposal that adheres to the requests of the end customer. Elisabetta Donati assumes the direction, strengthened by the decennial experience assimilated as coordinator of the department of modern and contemporary art.
