Islamic and Indian art includes Arabic and Persian manuscripts, miniatures and paintings, ceramics, metals, religious and talismanic fabrics, calligraphies, jewelery and furniture attributable to the areas of the Near and Middle East, up to the Indian subcontinent.
Among the most prestigious works sold at auction are an important 15th century gilded bronze statue from Nepal, depicting White Tara; a large bronze depicting Manjushri Namasangiti (Nepal 16th-17th century); an imperial teapot marked Jiaqing Yuzhi from the Jiaqing period; a pierced bronze censer in the shape of a feline with traces of silver inlays (Eastern Iran, 11th - 12th century).
