The department held its first auction in December 2020, with a catalog of clothing and accessories (bags, small leather goods, scarves, ties, jewelry) from the major Italian and international brands, emblematic of the stylistic evolution through the decades of the history of fashion and costume, with special attention dedicated to Made in Italy. The careful selection of lots to be offered to a transversal and transgenerational public, found by collaborating with industry experts and private clients, are intended for two types of sale (online and virtual), every four months, with an average redemption of 70% of the number of lots presented and 80% of the value of the objects offered. Mariateresa Rusconi is the department manager. In addition to selecting the lots and creating the fil rouge of each auction, she also coordinates the relationships with clients and buyers. At his side Marina Azzurra Lulli, department expert, provides support for the evaluation and valorization of the lots to be sold.
