This statue depicts the transcendent Buddha Amitayus seated in padmasana position on a drilled base. This base is covered with a cloth decorated with flowers. The Buddha holds his hands together on his lap, in the meditation gesture dhyanamudra. He wears crown and jewels typical of his status and shows polychrome remains on his face. In the lower part of the base there is an inscription in Chinese saying, "Qing Qianlong gengyin nian jing zao", which means, "made in Qianlong year 1770". Inside the base there is the typical numeration for this kind of statues. Some elements are missing.
