A white porcelain globular vase decorated with lobed reserves containing trees, flowers and rocks in the brilliant colors of the Yangcai palette, better known in the West as "famille rose" due to the presence of this pigment which was introduced in China not earlier than the 18th century by the Jesuits hosted at the court of Emperor Kangxi (1661-1722). This vase stands out for the excellent quality entrusted to the pleasant balance of shapes and the perfect execution of the ceramic body, thus it is an example of the high level maintained by the imperial kilns of Jingdezhen even in recent times. Six-character Tongzhi overglaze red mark on the base.
