Processional iron mace. It has a head resembling a horned face, on which remains of silver damascening with leaves, spirals and half palmettes are still visible. The horned head represents Yazid I, Muslim leader from 680 to 683 AD who, according to Shiite ideology, killed Husain, nephew of the Prophet and son of Ali.
