Polychrome painting on canvas, depicting the transcendent Buddha Amitayus, characterized by the reddish skin, and here in his canonical position: sitting in the padmasana position, the hands in the dhyanamudra position, holding the kalasa, the vial containing the elixir of long life. The figure is also enriched by a five pointed crown, flowing robes and precious jewels. At the base of the lotus flower on which he sits are votive offerings, while all around are depicted two hundred versions of the Buddha Amitabha. Painting 93x65 cm.
