The work belongs to a series of sewn books which constitute a tribute by Maria Lai to her dear friend Teresa Mundula who passed away in 1980. The booklets were intended for close family members, Teresa's four daughters and their children. In this work the The artist reworked some pages of Mundula's last diary, creating photocopies in blue-sky shades, embellished with tone-on-tone stitching and threads, adding some photos of Mundula and her sisters to the writing.
