Group of three porcelain potiches with blue-white decoration. China, Qing Dynasty, Kangxi.
Each has an elegant baluster shape painted in blue underneath with a vigorous design of flowers and leaves that freely follow the loops of the vase. The lids crowned with a pointed knob repeat the pattern of the body of the vase.
Provenance: Vung Tau cargo, a ship on a voyage from China to Batavia that sank in about 1690.
